Ingredientes

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken or turkey fillets (about 150g each)

  • 6 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)

  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped parsley (optional, but adds extra flavor)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Preparación

  1. Set up the breading station: In two separate shallow dishes, place the beaten eggs in the first dish and the breadcrumbs in the second dish.

  2. Flavorful seasoning: Sprinkle each fillet with a touch of salt, garlic, and parsley, infusing them with irresistible flavors.

  3. Coat the fillets: One by one, dip each fillet into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, press the fillet firmly into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring a perfect and even coating. Place the breaded fillets on a plate or tray.

  4. Heat up the oil: In a large skillet or frying pan, add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom by about 1/4 inch. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it's hot but not smoking. To check if the oil is ready, drop a small piece of breadcrumb into the oil; it should sizzle and float to the surface.

  5. Fry to golden perfection: Carefully place the breaded fillets into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each fillet for approximately 3-4 minutes per side, until they turn a beautiful golden brown and are cooked through. Gently flip them over using a spatula.

  6. Drain and serve: Once the fillets are cooked to crispy perfection, transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to remove any excess oil. Serve these delectable treats hot with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad. For an ultimate flavor experience, pair them with alioli to elevate this dish to a whole new level!
